Dorit Kemsley of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills revealed the lengthy and “manipulative” text that longtime friend Kyle Richards sent her before the Season 13 reunion.
Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards have been close since Kemsley joined Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during Season 7 in 2016.
Not only did the two bond over being Housewives, but their husbands also joined in on their affairs, often going on couple’s trips and out on double dates.
However, Kemsley had a bone to pick with Richards this season, as she wasn’t sure why their relationship began to fade.

In response to their fractured friendship, Richards sent Kemsley a very long text before filming the Season 13 reunion. Fans have since reacted by calling Richards “manipulative.”

Though Richards admitted in her text to Kemsley that their relationship had been strained despite RHOBH not covering why, she asked that Kemsley sit down with her before filming the Season 13 reunion.
Saying that their friendship was more important than the show, Richards expressed regret over not checking in on Kemsley more due to being in “so much pain,” as she has never felt “so low” in her life.

Richards went on to explain in her text that she doesn’t know how to “navigate” life without Mauricio Umansky, whom she is now separated from after 30 years together.

Richards also gave Kemsley grace for talking badly about her in interviews this season, as Kemsley was unaware of how serious Richards was suffering from “depression.”
However, when fans caught a glimpse of the lengthy text from Richards, they immediately called her out for “manipulating” Kemsley.

“Hate it or love it, Kyle is not only trying to manipulate Dorit but she is also very much trying to be the martyr… it is about time someone called her on the carpet for it,” wrote one fan.

Another fan agreed: “Very manipulative of Kyle. I never really thought of her as a victim, but girlll she’s playing the role so well.”
Though Kemsley and Richards are clearly not on the same page, one thing is for sure, and it’s that fans want to see Richards “own” her wrongdoings regardless of the depression she’s battled this last year.
