CYME Launches Peakto 1.10 photo cataloging for Mac users

CYME introduces a significant update to its Mac photo cataloger, Peakto, now on version 1.10. This latest iteration transforms the photo ingestion process, connecting to photos twice as quickly and allowing immediate batch operations. This enhancement significantly reduces the waiting time for full ingestion and will hopefully speed up lengthy workflows.

Claudia Zimmer, CEO of CYME, emphasizes the importance of meeting customer needs during this peak period. Nine months of dedicated development have resulted in a more responsive Peakto on Intel Macs and improved performance on Apple’s latest chips. Peakto now processes a 12,000-photo catalogue in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds, a substantial improvement from the previous 9 minutes and 30 seconds.

Peakto offers a unified interface for a photographer’s entire image collection, streamlining management across devices and storage solutions. It supports extensive photo catalogues exceeding 100,000 photos, making it a handy tool for organizing and accessing images. With AI-driven features like sorting, annotating, and album creation, Peakto enhances the photo cataloguing experience. Its advanced image recognition capabilities facilitate innovative search options, including description-based and similar-image searches.

The update also introduces new sorting features, auto-configuration for optimal performance, and improved Smart Albums with pre-filled templates. These enhancements offer an automated, efficient solution for photo management.

Peakto is compatible with leading photo editing software and is available for macOS. It’s offered via subscription or one-time purchase, with a free 15-day trial available.
