Motorola shows off the Edge 50 Ultra in Peach Fuzz

A few days ago Motorola confirmed that the Edge 50 Ultra will have 125W fast charging. The tweet showed an animation of the phone’s internal components but stopped short of showing the phone itself. This latest teaser makes the extra step.

Here’s a look at the phone painted in Pantone’s Color of the Year 2024 called “Peach Fuzz”. This color has already been used in the Motorola Edge 40 Neo and Razr 40 Ultra.

Going back to the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, the design is as we’ve seen in renders wit ha camera island in the top left. The oval shape of the third lens – that’s the 72mm periscope.

From leaks, we know that the Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, it will have a curved 6.7” FHD+ 165Hz display and a 50MP main camera. It should use Gorilla Glass too, thanks to Motorola’s partnership with Corning.

The Motorola Edge 50 event is officially scheduled for April 16 (tomorrow), which coincides with the European launch of the already official Motorola Edge 50 Pro (Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 125W).

Besides the Ultra and the Pro, we expect to see a Fusion model (allegedly with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and 68W charging). The Ultra should also arrive in the US as the Motorola Edge+ 2024. Check this post for rumored prices for the new models.
