Logan Paul tells Donald Trump he approached Netflix to step in for Mike Tyson & fight Jake

During his podcast with former US President Donald Trump, Logan Paul admitted that he approached Netflix with an offer to step in for Mike Tyson and fight his little brother, Jake.

YouTube star turned boxer Jake Paul was gearing up to face off with the legendary Mike Tyson on July 20, 2024, in what would have been Netflix’s first-ever live boxing event.

However, the match got postponed due to medical issues after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up during a flight in May. Now, the two are set to touch gloves in November… but Logan had an idea to help save the event.

During a June 13 episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan sat down with former US President Donald Trump, who asked him if he’s ever fought his brother before.

With a smirk, Logan admitted that, after Jake’s fight with Tyson got pushed back, he’d actually approached Netflix with his idea for a bout between him and his little bro.

“I was willing to step in for Mike Tyson, when Tyson got sick and had to postpone his fight,” he said. “We actually ran it up the chain at Netflix.”

“It’s hard for brothers to fight,” Trump replied. “I think it’s hard.”

“Not for Netflix,” Paul said. “Not for a big ‘ole bag. Figure it out once and for all.”
