Kanye West was expected to drop his Ty Dolla Sign joint album Vultures. When it didn’t land on streaming services, fans shared their unsurprised feelings about it.

Kanye West has been teasing his Vultures album, a joint venture with Ty Dolla Sign, for many months. Originally, the project was supposed to arrive in December 2023. Due to a Nicki Minaj beef, it was shelved until the new year.

With several more postponements, it was shoved to January 2024 before it was again pushed back several more weeks. With the last postponement, he revealed Vultures would be released in three volumes, with the first slated to drop on February 9.

Kanye West’s album postponed, and fans are unsurprised

Kanye West is nothing if not consistently inconsistent. With Vultures failing to drop online, fans expressed how upset they were, but some merely shrugged their shoulders.

A fourth chimed in, writing, “Not interested in any news unless album drops.”

The posts kept flooding in. “I pay Kanye release date news absolute dust until a project actually drops. Get like me,” proclaimed one user.

“Kanye West fans after he didn’t drop the album,” wrote another, attaching a popular video of a man screaming with clenched fists.

While many shared emotional responses, others took the non-news with stride. “Y’all keep falling for the okie doke,” said a fan.

“Mfs who thought Kanye was dropping,” quipped another user with a clown video attached.

Kanye West’s failure to release Vultures Volume 1 likely puts a hitch into plans to release the second and third volumes. As of this writing, Volume 2 lands on March 8, and the third on April 5. Of course, don’t place your bets on that quite yet. Like anything in the music business, things can turn on a dime.
