New from GoodSmile, the latest Evangelion blind box figures to pose with your Nendoroids are some of the funniest we’ve seen in a while.
Evangelion might be over as we know it, but that doesn’t mean the merchandise train stops. The famed anime series delves deep into the psyche of its characters. Remade in the Rebuild of Evangelion series of movies, the quadrilogy only just wrapped up in 2021 after a multiple-year delay.
The latest from GoodSmile features some familiar “faces” – so to speak. Usually spotted in meetings with Gendo Ikari, the monoliths of SEELE are now immortalized in plastic. They’re also part of a blind box, which is incredibly funny.

These SEELE monoliths are exactly the same as one another, outside of the number emblazoned on the front. Gendo would hear from those behind the monoliths as they plot to save humanity one last time.
This means that unless you purchase a bulk set, you might never even see all seven. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for complete sets for those hoping for all of them.

GoodSmile plans to release the SEELE monoliths in July 2024 alongside some reissues and new releases of Evangelion Nendoroids. These include Gendo, Rei, and Asuka, as well as Mari, the new character introduced in Rebuild.

They’ll cost you around $7 per pack, with Hobby Link Japan currently offering a small discount during the pre-order period. Again, as these are blind packs, you’ll have to buy multiples to get all of them.
The SEELE monoliths have been advertised alongside the new Gendo Ikari Nendoroid, which will look perfect surrounded by those who would try to ultimately doom us all.
