Black Ops 6 players convinced battle pass XP has been secretly nerfed

Black Ops 6 players are convinced there has been a silent change to their battle pass XP gain as it is seemingly going slower since the Season 3 Reloaded update.
The battle pass has become a key feature in a number of multiplayer games over the last few years, especially in Call of Duty. Each new season of each new COD title has a battle pass for fans to grind out, and there is even a premium BlackCell version for those who want to spend a little bit more cash.
As skins have become a divisive point within the community, so too has the battle pass. Some fans have routinely complained that they’re not getting their money’s worth and that there are some pay-to-win elements too.
However, since the Season 3 Reloaded update, they’ve got another complaint as fans believe that the developers have secretly slowed their XP gain.
COD fans belive battle pass XP is different now
It was pointed out by some after they noted that battle pass XP is not included in the May 8-12 double XP weekend.
“Anyone noticed since reloaded update BP progress is slow AF!” one fan complained. “Does anyone else feel like battlepasses in B06 take double the amount of time than past Cod’s?” another asked. “Did they nerf battlepass XP or what?” another quizzed.
“They nerfed battlepass and they nerfed regular (I have zero evidence) but it’s horrible to level up in this game,” commented another.
Many made comparisons to games of the previous years too. “They 100% did, it’s much slower than it was over the past couple games,” one added.
“Battle pass progress is slower in this game in general. It’s either that it takes more xp to progress tiers, or that there’s less XP going to them. Either way past years had much faster bp progression,” a further fan chimed in.
The devs are unlikely to confirm either way, but the community certainly believes that something has changed.
