Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 4 arrives on May 29, 2025. It wouldn’t be a CoD update without a new weapon, and this season sees the LC10 SMG return.
Season 4 celebrates a lot of the Black Ops series’ history, bringing back fan-favorite modes like One in the Chamber, Grief in Zombies, and BO3’s Fringe map. After Season 3 brought back Modern Warfare 2019 weapons, Season 4 does the same for Cold War.
The LC10 SMG looks like it’s going to be a great choice in both multiplayer and battle royale, so here’s how to unlock it.
How to get LC10 in BO6 and Warzone
Warzone and Black Ops 6’s LC10 is unlocked by finishing Page 3 of the Season 4 Battle Pass when it goes live on May 29, 2025. You’ll have roughly eight weeks to get enough XP to unlock it through the pass, then it’ll hit the Armory afterward.
It’s completely free to unlock, so you don’t need to spend 1,100 CoD Points on the Battle Pass, but upgrading will let you go through the levels quicker and unlock an exclusive blueprint on Page 14.
This fully automatic SMG makes up for its moderate rate of fire with “excellent accuracy and range,” perhaps making it more versatile than the average SMG. While the devs said it has “very slow handling for its class,” its accuracy and range should make up for it.
The LC10 was extremely powerful in Black Ops Cold War, so much so that it was nerfed several times, and it was no slouch in Warzone either. With how deadly Season 3’s new weapons – the HDR, AMAX, and Kilo – were, you can expect the LC10 to be just as powerful as it once was.
That’s not the only new weapon, as Cold War’s FFAR Assault Rifle also returns alongside the Pickaxe melee weapon and Essex Model 07 Marksman Rifle.
