Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is officially the first phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

Xiaomi announced today the Civi 4 Pro in China — the first phone with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The phone packs triple Leica-branded cameras on the back, dual 32 MP selfie shooters on the front, and a thin, light body.

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is built around a 6.55” AMOLED display of 2,750 x 1,236 px resolution. The panel supports up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate, while the peak brightness is rated at 3,000 nits. The screen and the pill-shaped camera cutout are protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The dual selfie shooters have 32 MP sensors. The main one has a 78-degree FoV and f/2.0 aperture, while the secondary is for ultrawide shots and has a 100-degree FoV and an f/2.4 aperture in front.

The main 50 MP camera has the same sensor found in the Redmi K70 Pro, and there is another 50 MP portrait (2x telephoto zoom) shooter. The third camera is a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle snapper with a 120-degree FoV. There is a single LED flash, completing the square formation within the camera island.

The Civi 4 Pro has a 4,700 mAh battery with support for 67W charging. Xiaomi claims the cell can be filled in 40 minutes. The user interface is HyperOS out of the box, which is based on Android 14.

Xiaomi offers Civi 4 Pro in four colors: Wild Green, Soft Mist Pink, Breeze Blue, and starry black. These options are available with 12/256 GB or 12/512 GB memory combinations, and the starting price is CNY2,999 ($415/€380).

There are also three more variants with Kona leater in White, Pink, and Blue, each with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The price is the same as the base version, but these are limited editions, meaning the promo will end once all the units are sold out.

The Civi 4 Pro is available for pre-order on the Xiaomi China website, and the first sale is scheduled for March 26.
