Assassin’s Creed Shadows players trying to complete The Killing Field mission will need to locate and assassinate the Executioner. Here’s where to find him.
After completing ‘The Fatherless Monk’ mission in the Wounded questline for Naoe, players will receive ‘The Killing Field’ objective that revolves around tracking down a ruthless enemy named Shindo Hiroshii, aka the Executioner.
AC Shadows provides a few hints regarding his whereabouts on the sprawling open-world map. But here’s a breakdown of the NPC’s exact location.
How to find the Executioner in AC Shadows
Upon being assigned ‘The Killing Field,’ the game will supply the following hints about the target’s location:
- He is in Izumi Settsu
- He is west of Amagasaki
- He is at Nanatsumatsu
Amagasaki is located west of Osaka Castle; players will have to travel by boat to reach this part of the map. Once there, head directly west of Amagasaki Castle to find a tiny settlement named Nanatsumatsu.
As the name of the mission suggests, Nanatsumatsu is where the Executioner kills those who resist the rule of antagonist Oda Nobunaga. The Executioner typically stands in the center of the fenced-off area, positioned between two large campfires.
UbisoftSneaking into the settlement and quietly dispatching the Executioner’s henchmen is the best bet since innocents will be killed if Naoe gets spotted.
The henchmen should prove fairly easy to isolate and take out stealthily. Of course, the real challenge will come when it’s time to fight the Executioner himself, as he’s a miniboss whose long sword attacks can deal devastating damage.
Getting Shindo Hiroshii out of the way will put Naoe one step closer to eliminating Wada Koretake, one of the masked individuals responsible for murdering her father in the prologue.
