Tony Hinchcliffe hires Kill Tony guest after learning her parents didn’t like him

A comedian turned her one-minute set as a guest on Kill Tony into a full-time job after revealing her parents weren’t fans of Tony Hinchcliffe.
Kill Tony has become one of the most popular weekly podcasts on the net, with millions of people tuning in to catch up-and-coming comedians try their luck at standup while being roasted by established pros.
Sometimes, these comedians, who end up on the show through the luck of having their names pulled out of a bucket, can have their lives changed if they’re impressive enough and become regulars.
However, one woman was able to land a full-time gig on Kill Tony after revealing what her parents thought of the show’s creator, Tony Hinchcliffe – and the comedian couldn’t help but stick it to her folks.

On April 14, Hinchcliffe brought a 27-year-old comedian named Sarah Sloan onstage after pulling her name out of the bucket.
Although her one-minute set wasn’t the greatest, she had been on the show before and impressed the crowd with her wild ability to make horse noises.
After an amusing interview portion, which even included a reference to Twitch streamer Asmongold, Sloan revealed she had never gone on a date before, and a member of the band, Big Mike, started making out with her.
Unfortunately, this had Sloan worried about what her parents would think. “You just ruined my life. My parents are going to kill me!” she exclaimed.
Sloan revealed that her mom hated the last time she was on Kill Tony and how she was made fun of by the hosts.
“They were like, ‘Let’s get lunch together,’ and so then I sit down and we order this really good food and they’re like, ‘We’re really disappointed in you.’
“You hated my minute, but I thought my last minute was better than this one. They didn’t say anything acknowledging it was good. All they did was talk about how I shouldn’t have been laughing at the jokes you were making about me.”
Hinchcliffe was absolutely baffled by this. “You shouldn’t have gone along with the jokes on a comedy show? They wanted you to stand there like a f**king stiff?” he joked.
After asking Sloan what she did for a living and asking her salary, Tony thought about it for a moment before opting to offer her a job.
“You know what, Sarah? I’m about to piss off your parents so bad. I don’t know exactly how, but we are going to match your salary and have you work for us from now on. Sarah Sloan works for me now!” he proclaimed. “Be proud of your daughter next time. That’s for you Mr. and Mrs. Sloan. And you know what? I’m going to give you $100 more than your salary.”
He further joked that she would be on a two-week probationary period to make sure she’s “not completely nuts,” but found her a spot on the show.
This surprising moment came just one week after Kill Tony broke its 12-year streak of weekly YouTube uploads for its first of three Netflix specials with ‘Kill or Be Killed.’
