If you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, today is your lucky day: you can get your hands on tickets to an early screening of James Gunn’s Superman.
Superman is positioned to be one of the highest-grossing movies of 2025 (internal tracking at Warner Bros has already been off the charts, but we’ll get a better idea of how big it’ll be from its presales this week).
After all, this is the launch of Gunn’s DCU, a new era for the franchise, and the introduction of a new Man of Steel (played by David Corenswet) for the first time in 12 years.
In other words, it’s a must-see theatrical event, and Prime Video members have a chance to see it before most of the world.
How to get tickets for Amazon Prime’s Superman screenings
If you have an Amazon Prime subscription, click this link and you’ll be taken to the homepage for the Superman screening. You’ll be asked to login to your Amazon account, and then you’ll be able to secure tickets via Fandango “while supplies last.”
So, you need to be quick, because tickets are already on sale (even though the official Superman X/Twitter account said they’d be on sale from 9am PST).
“Prime members – for one night only, turn your ticket into hope for others when you see an early access screening* of SUPERMAN on July 8 at 7PM local time,” the page reads.
“When you buy your Prime early tickets, you can be super by rounding up your purchase on Fandango to donate to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.”
Sadly, this promotion is only available to US audiences, so there aren’t early screenings for Amazon Prime subscribers in other territories.
Don’t worry if you can’t get any tickets or there isn’t a screening near you. Normal tickets for the movie’s nationwide release on July 11 will be on sale from June 11, so if you can handle waiting another three days, you should be able to secure tickets.
James Gunn does have some advice, though. “Hearing a spoiler won’t kill the movie. The enjoyment of the film isn’t based solely on its surprises… but if it does concern you please be careful of where you go online during those few days,” he wrote on Threads.
