Technoblade’s YouTube channel uploads 4th time since death with goal to reach 20M milestone

On May 25, 2025, Technoblade’s YouTube channel uploaded two videos asking viewers to subscribe, with the goal of reaching 20 million subs before his birthday on June 1.
The videos were spliced with footage that was pre-recorded prior to the YouTuber’s death in June 2022 and edited to reflect his channel’s current statistics, as well as including footage from his cameo in the 2025 Minecraft movie.
Seemingly created by his father, ‘TechnoDad,’ the beloved YouTuber’s mission lives on — and the videos achieved their goal.
Technoblade’s YouTube channel passes 20M subscribers in mere hours
As of May 26, Technoblade’s YouTube channel boasts over 20.1M subscribers, gaining 200K in less than 12 hours.
The second video, uploaded mere hours after the first, was a trailer for an upcoming collaboration with other top Minecraft personalities, who gave short testimonies about their relationships with Techno.
The forthcoming collaboration will drop on June 1, 2025, featuring “new fanart, Techno-family, featured creators and more.”
Fans poured into the comments sections with positive remarks and words of encouragement, with one writing, “Honestly, this channel is the embodiment of the saying, ‘A man only dies when he is forgotten.’”
“It’s crazy to think he’s at 20M even after his death. That just shows how much everyone loved his content and his humor. His legacy will carry on forever,” another said.
Technoblade died in June 2022 from sarcoma, a type of cancer that affects the connective tissues in the body around the joints, blood vessels, muscles and nerves.
The beloved content creator’s death was met with mourning across the internet. Minecraft even paid tribute to Technoblade in the game itself, and YouTube honored him with a special video for his channel’s ninth anniversary.

His channel has continued to pass major subscriber milestones in the years after his passing, with his father and fellow creators using his memory to spread awareness about sarcoma and raise money for cancer research.
