This is a very tough choice for me because I’ve been on all sides here, whether it was Team Ninja in Splatoon 1 or Team Knight in Splatoon 2, but I also like wizards, too. Good for Nintendo making this Splatoween new and not just a repeat of last year’s like I was expecting.
I choose Team Wizard this time. It’s Shiver’s team, which is my tiebreaker whenever I like all three choices in this game. There‘s way too many cool wizard and witch characters to name here. Wizards and witches also make great villain characters.
Knights are my second choice because a knight was likely my favorite Halloween costume when I was a kid and I’m sick and tired of Big Man always winning these seasonal Splatfests. I hope we can board the Splatfest float for photos by just reaching Ruler rank instead of having to win a 100x or 333x battle, like in Grand Festival. Patch notes released before that event implied that change could apply to any Splatfest.
