Smash player becomes 7-day Jeopardy winner & has made more money than any Ultimate pro

Super Smash Bros Ultimate player Scott ‘Biscotto’ Riccardi has become one of the richest Smashers of all time thanks to his dominant Jeopardy run.
For seven days straight, New Jersey Bayonetta main Biscotto has emerged victorious on the popular game show Jeopardy.
Biscotto isn’t the most skilled Smash player in New Jersey, not even being part of the state’s Power Rankings. But where he lacks in fighting game prowess, he more than makes up for with his intelligence.
As of July 14, Riccardi has made a killing playing Jeopardy, and the Smash community is rallying behind their boy as he racks up victory after victory.
Smash player dominates Jeopardy
Biscotto’s Jeopardy run has brought the tristate region together, with fans gathering to watch his run as the reigning champ.
On Friday, July 11, Riccardi’s total earnings during his 7-day run hit $182,901 after a comeback win against Andrew Wang, a medical student from Winnetka. Riccardi managed to best Wang by just $400 to continue his run.
The $182,901 is an impressive amount and more than most Smash players have made during their careers.
For instance, the Smash Ultimate GOAT, MkLeo, has made $168,669 from winning SSBU events, according to Liquipedia.
Tweek, who only recently retired, is second on the all-time Ultimate earnings list with $110,756.
On the Melee side, three players have made more from tournaments than Biscotto has on Jeopardy, as Hungrybox, Mang0, and Armada have all made over $200,000.
We’ll have to see how much longer Biscotto’s run will last and if he can surpass Ryan Long’s streak of 16 games to enter Jeopardy’s top 10 list for consecutive games won. Current host Ken Jennings holds the all-time record with a whopping 74 games back in 2004.
Biscotto isn’t the only Smash player to do big things outside of the Nintendo platform fighter. In 2022, Young Link main Zooey Zephyr was elected to the Montana House of Representatives.
