Sims competitor InZOI flies past Hollow Knight: Silksong as most anticipated game

InZOI, a life-sim game with realistic visuals from KRAFTON, has already managed to overtake Hollow Knight: Silksong’s Sport as the most wish-listed game on Steam.
When InZOI was first revealed, the life sim community was taken aback. After all these years, there finally looked to be some competition in the life simulation genre. Similar to Sims, in this game, you can create characters you control as you navigate the world and make their choices.
Originally, the game was slated for a 2024 launch. However, it was ultimately pushed back to March 28, 2025, with the game debuting in early access as devs said they wanted to “create an experience that meets the expectations of players who have enjoyed this genre for many years.”
With the release just on the horizon, the life sim title has now managed to dethrone Hollow Knight: Silksong as the most wish-listed game across Steam.

Devs have previously welcomed players to try out the free Creative Studio demo by getting their access via watching live streams.Â
Following this, in just a short stretch of time, the game has swiftly dethroned a number of mega-popular titles, such as Hollow Knight: Silksong, Elden Ring Nightrein, and even Valve’s own Deadlock, at least in terms of the number of wish-lists it has, as seen on SteamDB.

InZOI looks like something straight out of real life due to its realistic graphics.
It’s easy to see why so many people are hyped about this game. For one, inZOI lets you customize so many more aspects than you might expect at first glance.
Its character creator feature, for example, allows you to make all sorts of detailed adjustments – not just in terms of the Zoi’s physical appearance and their traits, but even small details like the texture or pattern of their clothes.Â
Their build mode is also packed with different customization options to let you build your dream home. Then there are also the gameplay features, like karma points, pets, careers, and so on, to keep players engaged.
It’s also confirmed that the game will have seasons from launch—something that’s considered DLC in a different title.
Though the game will debut in early access and be priced at $40, the developers have already planned several free major updates in the upcoming months.
