As one of the leading manufacturers of wireless audio solutions for content creators to emerge from China, Saramonic maintains an impressive pace of new wireless product introductions, all of which combine unique proprietary technologies with operation in the license-free 2.4GHz spectrum.

This is an area where very few manufacturers would risk promising professional performance levels in the past. And yet, Saramonic continues to offer wireless audio systems that are packed with pro features that perform even in demanding environments, and offer all the options required to face any type of production with confidence. Since 2012, Saramonic has amassed over 400 patents, and 15 design awards in this field.

The new Saramonic Ultra 2-channel wireless system features Timecode, allowing users to synchronize audio across the microphone system and cameras, regardless of when each device starts recording. In post-production, this enables editors to easily synchronize audio and video down to the frame using the auto-sync functions offered by editing software, saving them valuable time.

To capture loud sound sources without distortion, the Saramonic Ultra system is able to sustain sound pressure levels of 130dB, ideal for sound recording in challenging contexts such as live concerts, and drum performances with reduced risk of distortion. Inherited from the brand’s wireless microphone predecessors, onboard recording is also built into the Ultra model. More important, the system offers 32-bit recording, allowing a wider dynamic range that can capture everything from whispers to loud sounds without distortion or clippings.

And like other Saramonic wireless microphones, the Ultra features CEVA’s ClearVoice processing that filters out background noise with intelligent noise cancellation, while Vocal Boost and Low-Cut modes help tailor the sound for any setting. Automatic Gain Control (AGC) adapts audio levels on the fly, ensuring voice stays clear and balanced without manual adjustments – ideal for less experienced creators.

For the first time also for a 2.4GHz wireless system, an external antenna is offered with this wireless lavalier microphone setup. This well-designed accessory connects to the receiver to enhance signal strength and extend transmission to up to 300 meters, delivering more reliable performance in the face of longer distances, obstacles, and cluttered RF.

For demanding environments where water is part of content creation, Saramonic engineers made the transmitters IPX5 waterproof, a rare feature found in the category of wireless lavalier microphones. This function is offered to pro creators who need studio-quality audio in challenging conditions, such as outdoor shoots and wet adventures.

The new Saramonic Ultra wireless system is now available with a recommended price of US $269 for the standard version, and US $299 for the premium package that also includes two lavalier microphones that connect to the transmitters. The well-designed receiver features a clear AMOLED display and offers a special connector where users can plug both a Lightning connector or a USB-C adapter, being able to connect also to a 3.5mm jack, and Sony multi-interface hot shoe. All included in either or the packages.
