Samsung Galaxy A26 renders leak showing one key upgrade

Samsung launched the Galaxy A25 in December of last year, so we’re fast approaching the point when its successor should be made official. That hasn’t happened yet, but today we do have the first leaked renders showing the upcoming Galaxy A26 in all its glory.

The phone measures 164 x 77.5 x 7.7 mm (9.7 mm if you include the camera bump). That makes it taler, wider, and slimmer than its predecessor, intriguingly enough – there’s a strong hint here that its screen will be larger than the 6.5″ panel employed by the A25, and in fact the source of these renders speculates it will be approximately 6.64″.

According to a benchmark run, the A26 will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1280 SoC just like the A25, paired with 6GB of RAM in one version (though just like for the A25, more options will definitely be on offer). The Galaxy A26 may launch with Android 15 on board from day one and should be priced very similarly to its predecessor.

As you can see from the renders, the phone has a flat display with a positively vintage-looking waterdrop notch and chunky bottom bezel. The three cameras on the back are all contained in the same island, no more individual circles.

The sides are flat too, because in 2024 of course they are, but there’s also Samsung’s Key Island on the right, which protrudes from the flat frame to house the power and volume buttons.
