RAW Summer Hits 6 Is Out Now

New 25 track compilation from RAW blends genres and artists for a seasonal overview of electronic moods. One to add to your sets.

Independent electronic label RAW has released the sixth installment of its summer compilation series, RAW Summer Hits 6. Featuring 25 tracks from a diverse roster of artists, this latest edition continues the label’s tradition of highlighting emerging voices alongside more established names in electronic music.

The compilation includes contributions from Bad Boombox, CAIVA, 2HOT2PLAY, Justin Jay, Janis Zielinski, Mija, and others. As with previous editions, the emphasis is on genre fluidity, presenting a mix that spans UK garage, acid house, Latin rhythms, psy-trance influences, and after-hours techno.

This wide palette reflects the increasingly blurred lines in contemporary club culture, where artists often draw from multiple styles to craft their sound.

The presence of genre-crossing tracks such as Mija and Jacob Grosse’s “Turn It Up” or CAIVA’s emotionally-tinged “Save The Last Dance” speaks to a broader shift in electronic music – one that values mood and texture as much as tempo or beat. The compilation arrives at a time when streaming platforms and DJ sets alike are showcasing an increasingly eclectic mix of sounds, from nostalgic nods to 90s trance to stripped-down, percussive techno.

Tracks like BXTR’s Infinity and La La’s get up reflect a rising trend: dancefloor-ready cuts that still carry real emotional weight. At the same time, collaborations like Arman John and JOKESONYOU’s Like A G or Carla Schmitt and Durdenhauer’s Binary Bliss show how trying to breaking out of regional and stylistic bubbles.

The mastering by Charles Accarisi and artwork from FEMUR round out the release, offering a polished yet distinctly DIY aesthetic that RAW has maintained across its catalogue.

As summer compilations go, RAW Summer Hits 6 aligns with a broader culture of digital crate-digging and playlist curation, reflecting how producers and listeners alike are seeking diversity not just in BPM but in emotional and cultural range.
