Pokimane shocked by Adin Ross’s messages in her chat after Twitch unban

Twitch star Pokimane combed through her chat to find messages from Adin Ross after his two-year suspension from the platform was lifted — but fans didn’t expect her reaction.
Adin Ross was famously banned from Twitch in February 2023. While he became a staunch advocate for Kick, he later claimed that he was working with Twitch to get unbanned, citing issues with the “toxic” community he’d built during his suspension.
Just over two years later, Ross’s Twitch account was officially reinstated, and he even pitched an idea for a collaborative stream with one of the site’s most popular broadcasters, Pokimane.
While fellow streamer xQc immediately shut him down, Pokimane might not be as averse to a collab as some might think… at least, judging by her reaction to some of Ross’s old messages in her Twitch chat.
Pokimane uncovers Adin Ross’s “cute” Twitch messages
On April 4, 2025, Pokimane decided to search her chat for messages from some of her internet-famous colleagues, which included Adin Ross.
Despite being doubtful that he’d “ever written” in her chat, the streamer was pleasantly surprised by the “cute” messages he’d left during her past broadcasts.
Some of his previous remarks included: “Yo, what’s good? Nice to meet you,” and “Hey, how are you doing? Can I play?”
The innocent and friendly nature of Ross’s old chats got a giggle out of Pokimane, who couldn’t help but find the interactions adorable.
“Wait, it’s actually cute to see these,” she laughed. “He’s just a gamer. I guess he’s more of a gamer than I thought.”
Pokimane responds after Adin Ross’s idea for collab stream
It wasn’t long before viewers brought up Ross’s idea for a collab with Pokimane — something she was completely unaware of due to her extended break from social media.
While she didn’t have anything to say about a possible collab with Ross, he took notice of her positive reaction to his old messages, calling it a “cordial, very cool interaction” that he was “very happy” to see.
Ross brought up the moment during a conversation with podcast host DJ Akademiks, saying he hopes to host a type of “content retreat” in the future with other broadcasters — something he says he will stream on Twitch, which will be home to his collaborative projects with other top content creators.
