Kick streamer Vitaly has already confessed to his antics in the Philippines, according to a government official.
Russian streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy was arresed in early April after causing chaos in the Philippines for content.
The controversial creator was filmed allegedly trying to kiss a security guard, attempting to seize a firearm, harass locals, steal property and much more.
After being arrested, the authorities made a big statement by stating Zdorovetskiy wouldn’t be deported and would instead face trial in the country. And now, things are looking especially grim for the streamer after a new claim by a government official.
Vitaly has reportedly already confessed as he awaits trial
Despite Vitaly having to stand trial in the country, the streamer has allegedly already admitted to his shenanigans.
Speaking on national TV, Department of the Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Donnie Puno said that creating content like Vitaly’s in the country is unacceptable, stating the Russian had even confessed to everything.

“In the inquest that was conducted, he admitted to it,” Puno revealed. “In the presence of his council, he admitted to doing those acts. So, he’ll stand trial here and he’ll face the consequences.”
According to YouTuber and lawyer Legal Mindset, this will make it very difficult for Vitaly’s legal counsel.
“I think the legal term for his situation is ‘cooked.’ That’s what the kids say nowadays in the courtroom,” the YouTuber joked. “His defense is not gonna look good here. His lawyer doesn’t have many options.”

The DILG Undersecretary further noted that any argument about Vitaly causing trouble for content for clicks won’t hold weight in court.
“He tried creating his content at the expense of Filipinos, making them look like fools,” he said. “So, we’ll await the trial and see what happens.”
Puno added that Zdorovetskiy has remained “unapologetic” for his broadcasts and the government plans to crack down on any other creator who tries similar stunts. Furthermore, he said there’s been discussions about regulating streaming platforms within the Philippines.
The Vitaly controversy has been a huge topic in the country for weeks now. and it doesn’t look like the Philippines will hold back in prosecuting him. Even the country’s president said Zdorovetskiy’s streams made his “blood boil.”
It still may be awhile before Vitaly is able to stand trial. The streamer is reportedly sharing a cell while trapped “jail hell” due to a backlog of cases and the courts being packed.
