Oppo’s Reno14 series consisted of two smartphones – the Reno14 and the Reno14 Pro. That number has now increased to three since the Chinese brand has quietly unveiled the Reno14 F.
The Oppo Reno14 and Reno14 Pro came with MediaTek’s Dimensity chips at the helm, but the Reno14 F has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC under the hood, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
The Oppo Reno14 F is built around a 6.57″ FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display having 1,400 nits peak brightness and AGC Dragontrail DT-STAR D+ protection. The screen also works when you have wet fingers or wearing gloves.
The photography department on the Reno14 F is handled by four cameras – 50MP primary (Sony IMX882, OIS), 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 32MP selfie (AF). Note that the ultrawide camera also has auto-focus, which makes us question Oppo’s rationale behind including a separate, low-resolution macro camera.
Following the current trend, the Oppo Reno14 F also comes with some AI-powered photography features, including AI Flash Livephoto, AI Livephoto Export, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, and AI Style Transfer.
Fueling the Oppo Reno14 F is a 6,000 mAh battery having 45W charging support. Other highlights of the Reno14 F include an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IP69 rating, and underwater photography.
The Reno14 F is listed on Oppo’s website in Glossy Pink, Luminous Green, and Opal Blue colors with three memory options – 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. Oppo is yet to share its pricing and availability details.
