OneOdio Studio Max 1 Hi-Res Audio DJ Wireless Headphones

Coming from a Hong Kong-based brand with a very unfortunate name (numerous Chinese brands don’t bother to check what their names mean in other languages… “Odio” is Latin for Hate), the new Studio Max 1 headphones are an interesting new wireless proposition. Using a dedicated transmitter with ultra-low latency, the Studio Max 1 headphones are able to deliver a reliable, fast 20ms connection.
But the low latency dedicated RF transmitter link (which the company calls Rapid WiLL+ connectivity – maybe a tribute to the AIAIAI W+Link transmitter?), which enables the company to promote the new product to “DJ” applications (it’s just a consumer product really), is just the start. The Studio Max 1 headphones support the LDAC codec for high-resolution audio transmission from compatible sources (the company claims a Dual Hi-Res Audio Certification), and feature a 50mm large composite diaphragm driver.
Expanding from these higher-fidelity sound specifications, the Studio Max 1 headphones also have a dual microphone with ENC Call Noise Reduction, mandatory for today’s work from anywhere consumer products, and offer an unparalleled 120-hour battery life. Available from Amazon for US $169.99, the Studio Max 1 wireless headphones allow four distinct user connectivity modes, starting with the “DJ Wireless Mode” with the dedicated transmitter; a “Wired Monitoring Mode” which makes use of the standard 3.5mm connector; a “DJ Wired Mode” which is the same but with a 1/4″ cable for professional setups; and finally a Portable Bluetooth Mode (BT 5.3) for on-the-go use.
Featuring just four intuitive buttons, the Studio Max 1 headphones effortlessly allow for seamless management of its many features. The included Transmitter M1 features a large-capacity battery, supporting up to 15 days of use with just 4 hours of daily operation. A quick 5-minute charge provides an additional 2.5 hours of use, ensuring reliable operation on the go.
The Studio Max 1 headphones come in a practical protective pouch that also includes a USB Type-C charging cable, the M1 transmitter, a 3.5mm to 1/4″ cable, and a 3.5/3.5mm cable, plus a 1/4″ adapter. This interesting product deserves better luck. If only someone would tell the owners to change their name to OneLove…
