Nintendo confirms new Switch 2 US pre-order date & launch price after delay

Nintendo has revealed when the US will be able to preorder the Switch 2, and confirmed that the console’s launch price will remain unchanged.
On April 2, 2025, Nintendo finally revealed that the Switch 2 will be released worldwide on June 5, with pre-orders beginning on April 9.
However, President Donald Trump announced new tariffs on China and Vietnam on that same day, causing Nintendo to indefinitely delay pre-orders of the next-gen console in the United States.
Nintendo has now revealed when pre-orders will start in the country, and confirmed that the console’s launch price will remain the same.
