Marvel Rivals players fed up with Human Torch are pleading for one simple change

Marvel Rivals players think Human Torch should get one particular change that could make things easier for everyone.

Human Torch is one of the newest additions to the Marvel Rivals roster. He was added along with The Thing in the midseason update, and the Duelist character already has a limited-time skin you can grab for free.

Though a new hero is a welcome way to shake things up, as always, his arrival means that there’s a shift in the meta. Playing against a really good Human Torch can be annoying, to say the least, especially if you don’t have any hitscans in the team to deal with them.

That said, for a lot of players, the problem lies elsewhere than the new hero’s kit, but rather, with struggling to tell a friendly and enemy Human Torch apart.

Marvel Rivals’ ally Human Torch looks too similar with the enemy

Human Torch’s abilities are hard to tell apart from the enemy at times.

Having two Human Torches in the same lobby can be a nightmare. Yes, it’s possible to change the color outlines of teammates or even turn on allied health bars.

But when there are so many things happening all at once, as one user put it, you’ll have to do the “mental math” to see whether or not you can go in the fight safely when there are so many flames around.

In a Reddit thread, one user suggested that an ally Human Torch should be blue solely for visual clarity. The user also mentioned that the flames should appear blue to teammates to make them easier to differentiate.

Other players have jumped in the comments to share their thoughts, many agreeing that he needs a way to look even more distinct.

“I think a colorblind option making his ground flames blue and enemy flames more red would be a good idea,” commented one user.

A different user mentioned that the enemy Human Torch should have an even darker color, such as “crimson red.”

Meanwhile, one user stressed that this visual option should be available to begin with. “There should be options to change a lot of things to differentiate between enemies and teammates. I’m colourblind, so things like Peni mines and Human Torch’s fire are a nightmare.”

Only time will tell if devs will implement this kind of change to help improve visual clutter with Human Torch.
