Marvel Rivals has one “stupidly OP” Team-Up almost no one uses

Marvel Rivals players have pointed out one particular Team Up that’s “super strong”, yet it’s such a rare sight to see in-game.
One of the core gameplay aspects of Marvel Rivals is its Team Up abilities, which allows players to create comps with heroes that synergize well. Though it’s up to the player whether or not they want to swap to activate a Team Up, the game has so many useful options.
For example, Hulk can make Doctor Strange and Iron Man deal even more damage with their abilities, while Luna Snow makes Namor and Jeff pack more punch with a slowing field and ice damage for the latter.
Though out of all the options, players have started noticing one particular Team-Up that they almost never encounter in their matches.
Storm and Human Torch has a “super strong” Team-Up, but there’s a reason it’s a rare sight
When paired with Storm, Human Torch is able to turn her regular hurricane into a fiery one, obliterating anyone within range. All the Storm needs to do is consume one of Human Torch’s fire tornadoes.
Human Torch and Storm makes a devastating pair thanks to their Team-Up.
If that’s not devastating enough, Storm’s fiery ultimate lasts longer than usual, potentially burning a support ult in the process. As players have noticed in a Reddit thread, however, it’s rare to see this being used while that’s the case.
“Is it just me? Even in quickplay without the bans, I’ve only seen this happen like once or twice lately. It’s kinda odd because of how stupidly OP it is… As a support main, I ain’t complaining, but I was expecting to see this frequently after release, lmao,” they wrote.
It’s so rare that one user even joked: “When it happens, it’s a war crime. So probably a good thing.”
Following this, others have also shared the same sentiment in the replies. “It’s a fun team-up, and if executed right, it’s pretty much a guaranteed team wipe. You can even catch some supports panic-ulting and dying through it,” commented one user.
A different user even brought up Invisible Woman’s ult, saying the Team-Up is “super strong” and that even the Strategist’s ult is “no longer safe.”
Regardless of how powerful it can be, though, it does have its weaknesses. Ideally, you’ll need to do callouts with the other player. Then, it could also be a huge problem if the enemy team switches to hitscans, which is definitely not ideal for fliers. Not to mention, not everyone is a fan of having to burn two ults just to pull this off.
