Manor Lords Meets Crusader Kings In Liegecraft?

From Chaos, Brought To You By Former Paradox, CD Projekt and 11-bit Developers

If you are unfamiliar with either Manor Lords or Crusader Kings, the former is a medieval city builder in early release while the second is a long running series of turn based empire building sim that focuses as much on the personal lives of your rulers as it does on fighting wars, diplomacy and the acquisition of new territory.  In addition to those two games, the cities you build seem to be inspired by Heroes of Might & Magic, specifically the third in that series.  That makes the idea behind LiegeCraft interesting for anyone who enjoys those types of games, or those games specifically.

You will expand your cities and empires, while at the same time dealing with the personalities of your court.  Instead of everyone treating your desires as their own, you may have to deal with arguments and fights between your vassals, or encourage them to go after each other if that’s the way you want to play it.  You will see large land battles as well as duels between named characters as you try to expand your realm, a unique feature to LiegeCraft compared to other games in the genre.  The game will span multiple eras, based on your research, and maps are randomly generated so you can play the game numerous times.  As of now the game seems to be single player only, though that and many other things may change as it is still very early in development.

Early access should be available some time next year.
