We might finally know when GTA 6’s second trailer will debut, thanks to a sneaky clue Rockstar put into GTA Online.
GTA 6’s first trailer broke records when it debuted, but did you know the date and time of the planned reveal was actually hidden in a GTA Online shirt?
The ‘One Day Will Reveal All’ shirt contains a bunch of numbers, with one series being 1252309. This coincided with Rockstar’s planned reveal for the first GTA 6 trailer, that being December 5, 2023 at 9 AM.
However, the trailer ended up leaking a day early, prompting Rockstar to publish the trailer officially on December 4.
Interestingly, another series of numbers on the shirt lines up with new rumors about trailer 2 coming in April – and given how trailer 1’s date was hiding in plain sight, this new theory is gaining steam in the GTA community.
GTA 6’s next big announcement possibly revealed
As noted by YouTuber LegacyKillaHD, the ‘One Day Will Reveal All’ shirt features the numbers “040125.”
“Next big date for GTA 6 Trailer #2 possibly happening is April Fools Day 2025,” he suggested.
The same theory was posted by ‘GTA6Alerts,’ but users were quick to point out that April Fools Day might be the worst time for Rockstar to post the new trailer.
“April 1st is April fools, so it’s a bit skeptical,” one remarked.
“They are mocking everyone with April fools,” another chimed in.
Interestingly, this discovery does line up with recent rumors. Notably, popular GTA 6 podcast ‘GTA VI O’Clock’ claimed they received a news tip that trailer 2 would arrive in early April.
Additionally, given Rockstar’s past marketing timeline for GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, we’re overdue for more info on GTA 6 to be revealed.
GTA VI is still scheduled to release in Fall 2025, so we’re only a few months away from the game’s launch if things are still on track.
Of course, with rumors and Rockstar, take everything with a grain of salt, but it’s looking increasingly likely that we finally get another long-awaited look at GTA 6 and hopefully, a firm release date as well.
