Leaked voice lines from Marvel Rivals may confirm previous rumors claiming that X-Men character Emma Frost is on the way.
The massive Marvel Rivals roster already plays host to multiple X-Men characters such as Magneto, Storm, and Wolverine.
For weeks, unconfirmed rumors have suggested the number of playable X-Men heroes will grow in the future, with the likes of Cyclops and Jean Grey showing up in leaks.
Supervillain-turned-hero Emma Frost has appeared in leaks as well. However, until now, there was no real evidence to back up the claims.
Marvel Rivals voice lines may confirm Emma Frost rumors
Reputable Marvel Rivals leaker X0XLEAK has shared a clip featuring a series of voice lines from Wolverine and Psylocke. In the leaked lines of dialogue, both X-Men heroes reference the White Queen better known as Emma Frost.
One instance includes Wolverine saying the following in the event of a KO, “never really trusted you in the first place Frost.” In another line triggered by him seeing her KO someone else, he’ll apparently say, “I’ll admit, you made that look good, Emma.”
If Psylocke sees the White Queen knock someone out, she will reportedly say the following, “As cold-hearted as your name suggests, Frost.”
As usual, no matter the source, it’s best to take all of the above with a grain of salt. NetEase Games has yet to confirm its plans beyond the newly released Season 1.5 update, which added The Thing and Human Torch to Marvel Rivals.
Still, this information is in line with past leaks. And it’s not the only one hinting at Marvel Rivals potentially adding major X-Men content in the future.
In mid-February, X0XLEAK uncovered game files that suggested two new maps are in the works – Savage Land and Mojo World. Both locales are deeply connected to the X-Men, with the former playing a big role in Rogue’s current Marvel Comics run.
