League of Legends patch 25.14 notes: Kled rework & Yunara’s abilities explained

With the MSI 2025 patch behind us, 25.14 is bringing some real, substantial changes to League of Legends. Here’s what you can expect from the big mid-season patch.

It’s rare that League of Legends gets new champions these days, with the team generally more focused on balancing characters that are currently in the game than creating new ones. However, when a new champion does release, it’s usually a big deal.

Enter Yunara, a true auto-attack focused ADC, the first one we’ve had in years. With almost every modern ADC having a focus on abilities, she’s a true return to form for players who just like being rewarded for right clicking well.

And, while we don’t know the full change list, we do know what the Yunara and Kled changes look like. There’s a lot here already in comparison to 25.13’s very light changelist.

Yunara: Full abilities and stats

Here’s a full breakdown of Yunara’s base stats and abilities to give you an idea of what she does:

Passive: Vow of the First Lands

Yunara’s critical strikes deal 10% (+10% per 100 AP) bonus magic damage.

Q: Cultivation of Spirit

Passive: Yunara’s basic attacks deal bonus magic damage on-hit. While Cultivation of Spirit is inactive, her basic attacks on-attack also generate a stack of Unleash for 6 seconds, refreshing on subsequent attacks, stacking up to 8 times, and increased to 2 stacks generated if the target was a champion. Stacks expire by one every 0.5 seconds when the duration ends.

  • Passive bonus magic damage: 5/10/15/20/25 (+10% AP)

Active: Yunara unleashes her inner potential for 5 seconds: gaining bonus attack speed, dealing additional bonus magic damage on-hit, and empowering her basic attacks to have a significantly faster missile speed and spread to all enemies near the target, dealing 30% AD physical damage.

The chained attacks apply on-hit effects, with on-hit damage reduced to 30% effectiveness, apply lifesteal, and will critically strike if the triggering attack does. They also deal 250% damage to minions below 30% of their maximum health.

W1: Arc of Judgement

Active: Yunara launches a spinning prayer bead in the target direction that briefly grants sight of its surroundings as it travels and lingers upon contact with an enemy for up to 1.5 seconds, slowing down in missile speed significantly and resetting its remaining duration. Upon reaching maximum range, it will linger for another 1 second—regardless of a target being hit—and expand radially. The initial hit against each enemy deals magic damage and slows the target by 99% decaying over 1.5 seconds. While lingering, the bead deals magic damage to nearby enemies every 0.25 seconds.

Arc of Judgment deals 50/75/100% (based on level) damage to minions and executes them if they would be killed by 6 more damage instances from the linger effect.

  • Initial magic damage: 5/30/55/80/105 (+ 85% AD) (+ 50% AP)
  • Subsequent magic damage: 1.25/5/8.75/12.5/16.25 (+ 10% AD) (+ 6.25% AP)

W2: Arc of Ruin (Ult Enhanced)

Active: Yunara fires a beam of spirit magic in the target direction that deals 50/150/250 (based on Transcend One’s Self’s Rank) (+ 175% AD) (+ 100% AP) magic damage to enemies hit and slows them by 99% decaying over 1 second, as well as granting sight of the surrounding area.

E1: Kanmei’s Steps

Yunara becomes ghosted and gains bonus movement speed decaying over a few seconds. The movement speed is increased in effectiveness by 50% while she is facing a nearby visible enemy champion.

  • Bonus movement speed: 50/55/60/65/70%
  • Bonus movement speed duration: 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds

E2: Untouchable Shadow (Ult Enhanced)

Active: Yunara dashes in the target direction.

R: Transcend One’s Self

Passive: Arc of Ruin’s base damage and Untouchable Shadow’s dash speed scale with Transcend One’s Self’s rank.

Active: Yunara enters a Transcendent State for 15 seconds, during which each of her basic abilities are empowered with the following effects:

  • Cultivation of Spirit: Automatically grants its active effects at no cost. If the effects were already active, its duration is refreshed to the duration of the state.
  • Arc of Judgement: Upgraded into Arc of Ruin, which has no cost and has its remaining cooldown reduced by 80% upon both entering and exiting the state.
  • Kanmei’s Steps: Upgraded into Untouchable Shadow, which has no cost and has its cooldown reset upon both entering and exiting the state.

Kled mid-scope rework

Passive: Skaarl, the Cowardly Lizard

  • Remount HP is now instant and doesn’t have to wait for the animation
  • Kled gains 1% of his bonus HP as armor and MR, increased by 20% for each nearby enemy champ
  • Courage gained from minion last hits: 4 >>> 5
  • Courage gained from takedowns within 3 seconds of damaging an enemy: Removed
  • Dismounted Kled auto attack damage against champions: 80% >>> 85-100%
  • Dismounted MS penalty: 60 >>> 40
  • Dismounted MS gained toward enemy champs: 100-185 >>> 70-155
  • Dismounted speed boost range: 1000 units >>> 1200 units
  • Skaarl HP: 400-1550 linear scaling >>> 400-1400 with stat progression multiplier
  • Skaarl health gained on remount: 45-75% >>> 40-70%

Q (Dismounted): Pocket Pistol

  • Ammo charge time: 20-7.5 seconds >>> 18-10 seconds (reduced by Q rank scaling)
  • Damage per pellet: +80% bonus AD >>> +65% bonus AD

Q (Mounted): Bear Trap on a Rope

  • Initial hit bonus AD scaling: 65% >>> 60%
  • No longer applies Grievous Wounds on pull
  • Pull timer is now exact
  • Slow: 40-60% >>> 30-50%
  • Slow duration: 1.5 seconds >>> 2.5 seconds
  • Now calculates damage on pull rather than while tethered

W: Violent Tendencies

  • Cooldown: 11-5 seconds >>> 13-9 seconds
  • Attacking enemies while this ability is on cooldown will decrease the remaining cooldown
    • 1.5 seconds on champions, 0.5 on anything else
  • Damage: 20-60 ((+ 4.5-6.5% max HP)(+1% max health per 20 bonus AD)) >>> 20-60 ((+ 4.5-6.5% max HP)(+1% max health per 50 bonus AD) +1% max HP per 250 bonus HP)
  • W is no longer started when hitting wards

E: Jousting

  • AD scaling: 65% bonus AD >>> 55% bonus AD
  • Now has a HUD tracker that indicates how long you have to recast
  • Now has a range indicator on E2

R: Chaaaaaaaarge!!!

  • Minimum damage: 4-6% max HP +4% per 100 bonus AD max HP damage >>> 4-8% max HP +3% per 100 bonus AD max HP damage
  • Max damage: 12-18% max HP +12% per 100 bonus AD max HP damage >>> 12-24% max HP +9% per 100 bonus AD max HP damage
