Jasontheween slams cops who searched FaZe house in livestreamed swatting

Several streamers in the FaZe content house were broadcasting live when the home got swatted, leaving them frustrated after police ransacked the property during their investigation.
Swatting is an unfortunate reality that many high-profile content creators face. Several top influencers have been victims of such dangerous pranks over the years, including the likes of Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, xQc and more.
Swatting is a type of prank where an anonymous caller attempts to bring a large number of armed police officers to someone’s home, usually under the false premise of a dangerous, life-threatening situation.
FaZe Clan swatted in the middle of 30-day subathon
On April 3, 2025, FaZe Clan‘s creator house was swatted while StableRonaldo and FaZe Adapt were in the middle of a Warzone stream.
Viewers could hear police outside of the home, using a megaphone to urge the influencers to exit the residence with their hands up. After leaving his streaming setup, Stableronaldo’s camera caught an officer searching his room, leaving chatters shocked.
After the swatting, Jasontheween returned to his setup in his room, explaining that police had strewn his belongings all over the place during their search.
“They definitely walked through my room, because all my clothes are on the ground, bro. My PC was all shuffled. There’s bullsh*t on the ground. Police, can y’all at least be respectful and put it back?
“I understand y’all are doing your jobs, but f**k, man! I didn’t do anything! …they tossed all my clothes that I put in the laundry basket and just tossed it on the ground.”
The swatting took place during the group’s month-long subathon, which was on day three at the time of the ordeal. Luckily, the streamers were unharmed and the situation was resolved — but this incident is just the latest in a string of violent interactions toward content creators in the last month.
For instance, popular Twitch streamer Amouranth was pistol-whipped by three masked thieves who broke into her home to steal her crypto wallet, while streamers Valkyrae, Cinna and Emiru were threatened and intimidated by a fan during a frightening stream at Santa Monica Pier.
And later in March, Emiru was approached by a stalker during another live stream. It’s unclear why so many of these incidents have happened back to back, but it’s leaving many content creators afraid to leave their homes — but, as seen in the case of the FaZe swatting, they may not even be safe there.
