How to play InZOI early for free

InZOI devs are letting players into the life sim with realistic visuals early ahead of its release and here are the multiple methods you can try.

It’s hard not to think about The Sims when it comes to life simulation games, as the franchise has dominated the genre for decades. But with InZOI’s release just on the horizon, it looks like there’s going to be some real competition soon.

InZOI is an upcoming life sim developed by KRAFTON, featuring highly realistic graphics and many customization options. In this game, you’ll be able to create “Zois” and then let them live their life however you want, whether that’s working towards their career, building a family, and so on.

Devs have confirmed the game will be released on March 28, 2025. However, eager fans can play it early via the free demo to try it out.

How to get access to InZOI’s Creative Studio demo

At the time of writing, devs are offering players the opportunity to jump into the Creative Studio demo by watching InZOI live streams for a minimum set of time.

This demo is completely free, while the game will be priced at $40 USD in its early access debut.

There are multiple platforms to choose from for this, each with slightly different requirements. We’ve compiled a step-by-step guide you can follow below.

Twitch Drops

To get the demo key from Twitch Drops, you need to watch any live stream under the InZOI category for at least 15 minutes. 

Be sure to have your KRAFTON and Twitch accounts connected first, though, so you can claim it with these steps:

1. Head to the KRAFTON website and create an account.
2. Alternatively, log in with your details if you’ve already made one.
3. In your profile, head to the “Link” tab.
4. Select “Link Now” on Twitch as well as Steam.
5. Follow the rest of the prompt.
6. Next, open an InZOI live stream on Twitch.
7. Claim your code once you’ve hit the minimum time in the Drops & Rewards tab.
8. Launch Steam and add InZOI to your wishlist.
9. Redeem the code via the “Activate a Product” option under Games.
10. The demo should now appear in your library.

Steam

The process of getting early access is generally a lot more straightforward on Steam. All you need to do is watch the 30-minute live stream showcased on the game’s store page. 

Before you do that, though, make sure to add InZOI to your wishlist first. Once the minimum required time has passed, open your library, and the Creative Demo should appear there.

What is in the Creative Studio demo?

Not to be confused with a full game, the Creative Studio gives you access to the character creator and building mode. The options may be limited now, but it offers players a glimpse of some of the features that’ll be included later on.

The character creator uses advanced sliders that allow you to tweak so many details, but if you’re not a fan of making a Zoi from scratch, there are also plenty of premade presets to choose from. Not only that, but you can also tweak their clothes further, adjusting the colors, textures, and so on.

There’s also a photo mode feature for those who want to take screenshots straight from the character creator. With this, you can change the background and swap characters’ poses to take your desired picture.

Lastly, the Build mode comes with building presets, where you can choose which part of the structure you want to add and a plethora of furniture that can also be customized further.
