You’ve officially reached the part of Disney Dreamlight Valley where your storage is bursting with items you don’t even like, so the Uncrafting Table is your new best friend.
That cute crafting binge and outdated scarecrow need to go. Now your valley looks like a fantasy yard sale gone horribly wrong. But fear not, thanks to the Cheshire Cat (who’s finally pulling his weight), the Uncrafting Station is here to rescue you from your decorative disasters.
Let’s break down how to unlock this feature, craft the station, and reclaim materials like the sustainable hoarder you were always meant to be.
How to unlock Uncrafting
To get the Uncrafting Station, you’ll need to hit friendship level 7 with the Cheshire Cat.

This unlocks the “The Uncrafting Station” quest. You’ll be tasked with making and destroying some Wildly Jubilant Topiaries, collecting Blue Spores in the Alice in Wonderland Realm, and then, finally, crafting the station.
How to craft an Uncrafting Station
Here’s what you’ll need to gather:
- 28 Mushrooms: Forage in the Glade of Trust or water mystical mushrooms.
- 17 Glass: Crafted with 5 Sand + 1 Coal Ore per piece. Dig at Dazzle Beach and mine for coal.
- 6 Purple Bell Flowers: Found in the Forest of Valor; slow to respawn.
- 4 Blue Passion Lilies: Found in Frosted Heights; also slow to spawn.
- 35 Hardwood: Collected from the ground in wooded biomes.
- 20 Blue Spores: Only found during the quest in the Wonderland Realm.
How uncrafting works
Place the station down, interact with it, select a crafted furniture item, and pay a bit of Dreamlight to break it down.
The more complex the item, the more time and Dreamlight it takes. Once it’s done, you’ll get your original materials back.
The Wonderland Whimsy didn’t just bring the Cheshire Cat and Uncrafting, though. You now have access to everything from Alice to the Cheshire Cat Chaos and, of course, the Garden of Whimsy Star Path.
