Marvel Rivals fans looking to expand their skin collection can get their hands on a free skin for The Thing, but the window is closing fast.
Marvel Unlimited, the comic book giant’s online branch that grants access to over 30,000 digital comics via a paid subscription, is running a promotion for new and existing subscribers, and it’s one worth considering, especially if you’re a fan of the Fantastic Four’s toughest member.
How to get The Unlimited Thing skin in Marvel Rivals
To be eligible for a redemption code, you’ll need to sign up for a Marvel Unlimited subscription before April 16, 2025. Any new subscriptions registered after this date will not be eligible for the promotion.
To sweeten the deal for any first-timers, using the code THING50 at checkout on the promotion’s page will grant 50% off your first two months. The available subscription tiers and their respective prices are as follows:
- Monthly – $9.99 per month
- Annual – $69 annually
- Annual Plus – $99 annually
If you do choose to sign up and don’t immediately receive the code, don’t fret – emails containing unlock keys aren’t due to be distributed until April 25.
Is The Unlimited Thing skin worth it?
As always, the answer to that question will vary, but based on pure value compared to skins purchased directly from Marvel Rivals’ in-game store, yes, this is worth picking up for any regular player with an interest in cosmetics or the character in question.
For comparison, 1000 Lattice, Marvel Rivals’ in-game currency, currently costs $10. Skins vary in price anywhere between 1600 to 2000 Lattice depending on rarity, making The Unlimited Thing skin cheaper than standard.
It’s worth noting that any of the subscription tiers listed above are eligible for the skin, essentially bringing the total cost to $10 (tax excluded). If you’re only in it for the skin, do note that you’ll need to manually cancel your Marvel Unlimited subscription by disabling auto-renewal.
