How to get Rainy Day Tracer skin in Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 is back with a new Support a Streamer event, which lets you get the Rainy Day Tracer skin. Here’s how to unlock the Legendary cosmetic.

Overwatch 2 devs really meant it when they first teased “groundbreaking” changes in Season 15. Now that the new season is finally live, players are able to try out all the minor and major perks, enjoy the return of loot boxes, and even grab a plethora of free cosmetics.

So far, these cosmetics include the Rainy Day skins for Mercy and Mei, which you can get from completing the Perked Up event challenges and Twitch Drops, respectively.

The addition of the cozy-looking outfit line-up doesn’t just stop there, though. Tracer also has her own Legendary Rainy Day skin, and here’s how you can unlock it.

Overwatch 2 Support a Streamer event: How to get the Rainy Day Tracer skin

Unlocking the Tracer’s Rainy Day skin is different from Mercy and Mei’s. As this skin is part of the Support a Streamer event in Season 15, you’ll have to gift two Twitch subs to any eligible streamer.

According to Blizzard’s official post, this includes participating Twitch channels streaming in the Overwatch 2 category.

We’ve detailed a step-by-step guide below that you can follow to do so:

  1. Log in to your Twitch account.
  2. Head to the Overwatch 2 category and select any of the participating channels.
  3. Select the “Gift a Sub” option once you’ve opened the channel’s stream.
  4. Select the tier 1 subscription.
  5. On the new tab, have the Quantity set to 2. Though you can gift more if you want.
  6. Enter your payment details.
  7. Select “Review purchase” and follow the rest of the instructions.

Unlock the Rainy Day Tracer skin by gifting two subs to any participating channel in the Overwatch 2 category.

Once that’s done, you should be able to claim the Legendary Rainy Day Tracer skin. Do keep in mind, though, before anything else, you’ll also want to make sure your Battle.net account and Twitch account have already been linked.

How to connect your Battle.net account to Twitch

For the Tracer skin to show up in the game, you’ll have to follow these steps below if you haven’t linked both your accounts yet:

  1. Login to your account via the Battle.net site.
  2. Select Connections on the left tab.
  3. Scroll down until you find Twitch, and click the “+Connect” option.
  4. Follow the rest of the instructions.

This Support a Streamer event will run from February 18 through March 9, so you’ll have time until then to obtain the skin.

It’s not the first time developers have offered free skin by gifting subs to a streamer, as in the past, you could earn the Legendary Medic Brigitte skin with the same method.

Either way, while you’re here, make sure to check out the loot box rates and the upcoming LE SSERAFIM collab for more cosmetics.
