How to get Ground Stone, Sandstone & Granite in RuneScape Dragonwilds

Ground Stone, Ground Sandstone, and Ground Granite are vital resources in RuneScape Dragonwilds as you advance to tier two of the adventure. But you’ll need to work out how to make them first.

Whether you’re looking to improve your armor using Adhesive, upgrade your weapons with Wild Anima, or aim to make the best base possible for you and your friends, you’ll always need to grab more resources in RuneScape Dragonwilds. After all, it’s still a survival crafting game.

So, if you’re working on improving your adventure and have stumbled upon a few ground-up resource requirements, here’s how to make Ground Stone, Sandstone & Ground Granite in RuneScape Dragonwilds.

How to make Ground Stone, Sandstone & Ground Granite

To craft Ground Stone, Ground Sandstone, and Ground Granite in RuneScape Dragonwilds, you’ll need to first unlock the Grindstone, which will help turn your materials into the ground versions.

Once you’ve unlocked it, simply pick up stones and mine Granite and Sandstone, both of which can be found on the west side of the Fractured Plains. It’s worth noting, you’ll need to upgrade your pickaxe to Bronze, as mining those nodes doesn’t work with the Bone or Stone variants.

Once you’ve got your Stone, Sandstone, or Granite, just place them into the Grindstone and you’ll get the Ground version back.

How to make a Grindstone in RuneScape Dragonwilds

To grind down any resource, you’ll need to make a Grindstone. This is initially unlocked when you head west of Fractured Plains and mine a piece of granite.

Once you do, you’ll need to collect the following resources:

  • 18 Stone
  • 12 Oak Logs
  • 6 Iron Bar
  • 12 Granite

Thankfully, Stone and Oak Logs are pretty easy to get, just find Stone on the ground or mine and chop down both Stone nodes and Oak trees.

Iron Bars are made by smelting Iron Ore in the Smithing Anvil. Iron Ore is found in Iron Deposits in the Stormtouched Highlands using a Bronze or better Pickaxe. Lastly, Granite is mined using a Bronze or better Pickaxe in the west of the Fractured Plains.

Once you have all the resources, craft a Grindstone, place it down, and put in the Stone, Granite, or Sandstone, and you’ll have what you need.

Uses

Ground materials are primarily used for tier two construction.

So if you’re looking to upgrade your base and move out of the Bronze age, then you’ll need to get plenty of Ground Stone, Sandstone, and Granite, along with multiple Oak Logs.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Ground Stone, Ground Sandstone, and Ground Granite in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
