How to get General Grievous in Fortnite

General Grievous, the lightsaber-collecting cyborg from the Star Wars prequels, has arrived in Fortnite as part of the Chew on This update.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, titled Galactic Battle, has been completely Star Wars themed. It has POIs inspired by the galaxy far, far away, a Battle Pass full of new heroes and villains, as well as a loot pool full of lightsabers and blasters.

The Chew on This update brings Chewbacca and his Wookie Bowcaster to the game, lets you chat to Darth Vader with AI, and unlocks the highly sought-after General Grievous skin. He’ll make a fine addition to your collection, so here’s how to get him.

How to unlock General Grievous in Fortnite

To unlock General Grievous in Fortnite, you’ll need to buy the Battle Pass and then climb 14 account levels. The Battle Pass costs 1,000 V-Bucks ($8.99 / £6.99).

Levels only start counting as of the May 16 update, so no matter what level you are, you need to climb another 14 levels, so you can check out the fastest ways to level up.

You’ll have until June 7, 2025, to unlock the Grievous skin, so make sure you prioritize leveling up before Season 4.

How to get Warlord Grievous skin

The Warlord Grievous skin is unlocked by climbing 28 account levels. It’s the final reward from the Grievous pages, so you’ll have unlocked all of the items by the time you unlock him.

This alt style is based on his look before he was turned into a cyborg. It’s a bit of a mashup, where he still has his cybernetic arms, but his face and legs are his original look.
