Another extraction shooter, another beta test. But ARC Raiders might actually be worth your hard drive space.
ARC Raiders’ playtest is here to test your trigger finger, your patience, and the stability of Embark Studios’ servers. It’s a PvPvE shooter where squads of three battle both enemy players and rogue AI in a dystopian alien-infested wasteland.
It might be intense and buggy. But hey, that’s why it’s a beta. Expect thrilling moments, brutal takedowns, and at least one glitchy jump animation. Just don’t expect to get in without doing a little work. Or a little begging.
ARC Raiders beta start and end date
The ARC Raiders playtest runs from April 30 to May 4, 2025.
That gives you five days to shoot, loot, and crash-test Embark’s servers. The playtest is open on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Mouse-and-keyboard purists and couch-based console warriors alike get a chance to get lost in this chaotic playground.
How to get an ARC Raiders beta key
Getting in isn’t guaranteed, but here’s how to try:
- Steam (PC): Go to the ARC Raiders Steam page, hit the “Request Access” button, and cross your fingers. If you’re lucky, Steam will send you an email confirmation.
- Epic Games Store / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S: Head to ARC Raiders’ official site, log in (or sign up) with your Embark ID, pick your platform, and request a code. If selected, you’ll get an email invite.
If you played in a previous ARC Raiders tech test, you’re automatically in. And if you complete full rounds, you get two friend invites to share the chaos. You can ask for an invite in this thread; fingers crossed a kind soul reaches out to you.
Does ARC Raiders have a full release date
Embark Studios hasn’t nailed down a date yet. But based on these recurring playtests, a full release is creeping closer, so expect more updates (and probably one more beta) before then.
