inZOI features an interactive job system where players take an active role in their character’s career. Here’s how to find, apply for, and excel in a job in inZOI.
Whether you’re looking to climb the corporate ladder, serve customers, or pursue fame as a K-pop trainee, securing a job is an essential part of the game.
How to apply for a job in inZOI
To secure a job in inZOI, you must use your in-game smartphone. This tool serves as the main interface for exploring job opportunities and applying for positions.
How to apply:
- Open the Career App: On your in-game smartphone, click the career icon to view job opportunities.
- Choose the Job: Depending on your location (like Bliss Bay or Dowon), jobs will vary. Pick either an active or passive role. Active roles require you to help your Zoi at work, while passive ones let them work alone.
- Apply: Select a job and hit ‘apply.’ There’s no interview process; your Zoi is hired immediately once they meet the age requirement.
What jobs are there?
Jobs in inZOI are spread across two main locations: Bliss Bay and Dowon. Each area offers distinct career paths, and roles are available at various companies.
Here are just some of the jobs you can have:
- Reporter
- Attorney
- Army Captain
- Cashier
- Gangster
- Manager
- Office Worker
For active jobs, the player is involved in guiding the Zoi through the tasks at hand, which may result in higher job satisfaction and performance. Passive jobs, on the other hand, let your Zoi take care of everything themselves, though the results may vary depending on their capabilities and the work environment.
How to get promoted
Promotions in inZOI are performance-based rather than automatic, so advancing in your career requires some effort.
To earn a promotion, your Zoi needs to perform well in their current job. For active jobs, the more you assist, the better your chances of progressing, while passive jobs rely on your Zoi’s inherent skills and the time spent in the role. As your Zoi excels, they’ll unlock higher-paying positions with additional responsibilities.
If you simply let your character do their own thing, that’s fine, and you’ll still get paid, but you won’t progress enough to earn any promotions.
So, instead, if you actively participate and complete tasks, you are more likely to be promoted. That is, unless you have a part-time role, where promotion just isn’t a thing.
How to quit your job
If, at any point, you feel your Zoi should switch careers or try a different role, quitting a job is an easy process through the career app.
Simply access the career app, navigate to the current job listing, and choose to quit. Your Zoi will be able to seek new employment once again.
