How to find the Shogun’s Arena in Fortnite

Find out how to spot the Shogun’s Arena in Fortnite, so you can complete one of the latest quests to earn XP.
Fortnite has just released its 34.30 update in Chapter 6, Season 2, adding a ton of exciting new things players can jump into. The main highlight of this update is a new Festival season, this time introducing Sabrina Carpenter as the featured artist.
As usual, new weapons and quests have also been added to the game to spice things up. In one of the latest Mortal Kombat: Balance of Power quests, you’re tasked to eliminate players in Shogun’s Arena.
Since this isn’t like a regular POI on your map, the location can be tricky to find if you don’t know how to look for it. Below, here’s everything you need to know about where the Shogun’s Arena location is in the game.
Where is Shogun’s Arena in Fortnite?
The Shogun’s Arena is the floating island that appears a bit later in the match.
The Shogun’s Arena is equivalent to the game’s Loot Island in Chapter 6, Season 2, hence why it doesn’t have a fixed spawn location on the island.
While this floating island spawns in different locations in every match, one way to tell where a Shogun’s Arena will appear is to look for a special red rift icon on your map. This icon will then be replaced with icons of small red islands once the Shogun’s Arena appears.
For the rift icon to show up in the first place, however, you’ll have to make sure to survive the match for a few storm circles, as the Shogun’s Arena will only show up after some time has passed.
How to get to the Shogun’s Arena

You can land on this island after launching yourself upwards and using your glider.
To get to the Shogun Arena, simply head over to wherever it is marked on the map. Once you’re close enough to one of the floating islands, use an Air Sprite to launch yourself upwards. You’ll then be able to use your glider and set foot on the island.
Here, you’ll be able to fight the Shogun X boss – and assuming you don’t get killed by other players while you try to take him down, you’ll be able to grab all his loot and medallion.
To be safe, just ensure you’re loaded with some of the best weapons before you get here. Also, make sure to stock up on some utility items, as this won’t be an easy fight.
That’s everything you need to know about how to find Shogun’s Arena in Chapter 6, Season 2. While you’re here, check out all the skins in the upcoming Adventure Time collab, learn how to win a Victory Royale, and learn what will be added in the next update.
