How to complete Marvel Rivals X-Men challenge

Alongside fighting battles or perfecting your favorite character, Marvel Rivals‘ challenges keep players locked in throughout the season, but they’re often harder to complete than they seem.

As part of Marvel Rivals Season 2, otherwise known as Hellfire Gala, players were given the ability to thrive as Emma Frost, who sits at S-tier in our tier list. However, they were also offered a ton of brand new challenges to complete as part of the current event, all offering multiple useful rewards from Chrono Tokens to Units and a Wolverine Spray.

However, the Wolverine missions are time-limited and are by no means an easy challenge to complete, especially when some don’t reveal exactly who you need to deal damage to.

One such challenge is Mission 5, which instructs players to: Deal 10,000 Damage as any X-Men member in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice VS. AI. But who are all the X-Men members? Well, here’s all you need to know.

While the number will certainly increase as the game’s updates go on, in the meantime, you’ll want to deal 10,000 damage as any of the above characters to complete the mission.

Given the task asks you to deal 10,000 damage, you’ll want to choose one of the following heroes as they’re the strongest damage dealers with the most survivability:

• Namor
• Emma Frost
• Magneto
• Magik
• Storm

When you have Namor’s turrets down, that 10,000 damage will feel like a breeze. He’s a powerful X-Men character and is probably the easiest character to complete this task, thanks to his high DPS and shield ability.

While she’s a little tougher, Emma Frost is a great choice for this challenge. Her ability to one-shot players with her combo and strong ranged damage will set you up perfectly. Just master how to use her and you’ll complete the task with ease.

NetEase Games

Magneto may be a Vanguard, but his damage output and burst are immense. Combine that with the inability to kill him very easily, and you’ve got enough time and safety to deal out the 10,000 damage required.

If you’ve perfected her, then Magik is another great choice for this task. Her large sweeping attacks can hit multiple enemies at once and have the ability to one-shot plenty of players. Just take the time to perfect her, and she’ll be fantastic.

Lastly, thanks to recent buffs, Storm is a devastating duelist who can buff herself or allies with damage and movement speed. Her flying and deadly ultimate combine to make her utterly deadly, dealing all that damage required without so much as breaking a sweat.
