GTA 6’s Vice City easter eggs have fans split after fresh sightings

A fresh set of GTA: Vice City easter eggs have been spotted in the Grand Theft Auto trailer, but fans aren’t completely sold on them.
For years, leaks suggested that Rockstar Games would finally return to Vice City with GTA 6. The Grand Theft Auto developers eventually confirmed those leaks as real a few years ago, and noted that it would be a modern setting.
As a result, GTA fans have been expecting a number of easter eggs from the classic game. Some want a homage to Tommy Vercetti – either in the form of his iconic outfit or a chainsaw – while others want to see the Lance Vance Dance make a comeback.
With Rockstar dropping a second trailer and close to 100 new screenshots in the wake of confirming GTA 6 will be delayed until May 26, 2026, fans have been scanning through them for any subtle hints.

Even though you may think they’ve found pretty much everything there is, sometimes, new easter eggs pop up. However, they do split fans.
That includes Redditor One-Calligrapher4869 spotting a mansion in the background of the trailer that they believe is Tommy’s mansion from Vice City. “Almost no way there isn’t gonna be a reference to Tommy or his mansion,” one supportive fan added. “Grasping at straws with this one,” another argued.
Another fan also noted that there is another segment of the trailer where a lady appears to be doing the classic Vice City nightclub dance. “Insane catch,” one commented. “I knew I wasn’t the only one who saw this,” another agreed.
Yet, some argued that the dance appears for just “0.2 seconds,” so it’s hard to tell if it is the Vice City dance that they’re actually pulling off.
Rockstar have gone silent again on all things GTA 6, but they did offer a subtle nod to it in GTA Online’s Money Fronts update with a new piece of art.
