GTA 6 has a link to Michael from GTA 5 in trailer and the voice actor responded

The second GTA 6 trailer was filled with hidden Easter Eggs as Rockstar revealed more details on its characters and gameplay. However, one Easter Egg may have just hinted at a GTA 5 character’s boat finally reappearing.
Fans of GTA 5 have been begging to know whether the game’s characters will be arriving in GTA 6 ever since the latter was revealed. After all, Michael, Franklin, Trevor, and Tommy are all iconic names in the franchise now, and given they live in the GTA version of the USA, it’s not impossible.
Unfortunately, nothing has been announced just yet, with the GTA 5 voice actors keeping tight-lipped on the situation. However, that doesn’t stop Rockstar from potentially dropping hints, and signs all point to one GTA 5 character’s beloved boat.
GTA 6 fans are convinced Michael’s boat is in GTA 6
If there’s one thing Michael is best known for, it’s his yacht. While (spoilers) the yacht does end up getting stolen in one of the first missions, Michael never quite lets it go, often commenting on it or lamenting over his lost love.
Now, players on social media think they’ve spotted Michael’s boat in the GTA 6 second trailer.
During the trailer in question, Jason is speaking to Brian after being asked to collect money for him. In the far right of the shot, we see a pretty familiar white yacht with a blue stripe on it parked on a stand. Compared to Michael’s boat, the resemblance is uncanny.
Naturally, fans were thrilled to see the nod to GTA 5: “That’s gotta be his boat, it would just be poetic if the new protagonist ends up with it.”
“Of all the cameos I want, this is high up there, just a small nod like yeah I bought it from a guy in Los Santos, he said he stole it off some fat kid,” joked one player, calling for Rockstar to lace more Easter Eggs throughout the game.
However, others took it to be a subtle hint that “Michael might be in GTA 6.” Of course, this doesn’t exactly confirm his arrival, but it’s certainly not an accident.
In fact, it’s pretty much confirmed to be Jason’s boat after Ned Luke, the character’s voice actor replied to the Easter Egg, joking: “I’m coming Jason… For my boat.”
Whether it’s a hit towards Michael’s appearance is yet to be seen. He could come back to claim his boat, or it could be filled with nods towards the character. Either way, we’ll have to wait until May 2026 to find out.
