Genshin Impact codes (April 2025) and how to redeem them

It’s not too hard to find yourself short of Primogems or Mora in Genshin Impact, but one way to get plenty of both currencies is by using redeem codes.

Genshin Impact features an astonishingly large character roster, but most can only be acquired through the banner system. While the open-world RPG has enough content to net a lot of units, you’ll still need plenty of Primogems.

Thankfully, codes often reward you with currency and upgrade materials, so here are all the ones you can currently claim.

Active rewards this month

As of April 25, 2025, there are currently four active codes that can be redeemed.

• GI56Paralogism: x100 Primogems, Mystic Enhance­ment Ore
• ChefEscoffier0507: x100 Primogems, Hero’s Wit
• Ifacacucu0507: x100 Primogems, x5000 Mora
• GENSHINGIFT: x50 Primogems, Hero’s Wit

Genshin Impact codes offer players various rewards, including Primogems, which can be used on the latest banners. It’s important to note that GI56Paralogism, ChefEscoffier0507, and Ifacacucu0507 expire on April 28, so we advise claiming all three as soon as you can.

The ‘GENSHINGIFT‘ code has been around for a good amount of time, now, so if you’ve been playing for a while, you’ve likely already redeemed it.

Are there any free wishes?

No, as of April 25, 2025, there are no codes that can be redeemed for free wishes in Genshin Impact.

The only way to get more wishes in the game is by purchasing them from the store, or by completing specific Archon Quests like the Knights of Favonius in Prologue: Act I – The Outlander Who Caught the Wind.

How to redeem codes

There are two ways to redeem codes in Genshin Impact: through the official redemption website or in-game. No matter the method you choose, you’ll first need to be Adventure Rank 10 or higher, so make sure you have that sorted first before following these steps: 

In-game

1. Open the Options menu (press the ‘Options‘ button on your controller, or click on the Paimon icon in the top-left).
2. On the menu that appears, you’ll see a cog icon for settings at the bottom – click that.
3. Then, navigate to the ‘Account‘ tab.
4. Select ‘Redeem Code‘ and add the code you want to redeem.
5. If the code was correctly added, you’ll receive a pop-up that says redemption successful.

HoYoverse / Dexerto

All rewards, no matter the method you use to claim them, will be sent to your in-game mailbox, so you’ll have to go there to claim them.

Redemption website

1. Head to the official redemption webiste.
2. Log in to your account by selecting the ‘Log In‘ button at the top-right of the screen.
3. Select the name of the server that you play on.
4. Enter your character nickname, also known as your in-game name. 
5. Type in one of the redeemable codes and click ‘Redeem‘.

There is another method for livestream codes, and that is simply checking HoYoLab. After the version stream has concluded, you’ll find the redeem codes right as you open it, and a simple click will send them right to the in-game mailbox. Of course, you’ll need to be logged in first.

What are promo codes used for in Genshin Impact?

Typically, you’ll be able to get free Primogems, Mora, character EXP materials like Hero’s Wit, weapon EXP materials in Enhancement Ore, and food. Primogems are your ever-valuable currency and we know you’re here only for them.

Other resources you get through codes like Adventurer’s Experience, Enhancement Ore, and Mora are more useful early game. You’ll need them to upgrade every character and weapon, which is something you’ll be doing a lot in the beginning.

Food provides temporary buffs and healing, and because the game can get pretty tough early on, it’s not a bad idea to keep them in your pouch. The amount of these resources you get isn’t anything to write home about, though, and won’t make for a massive boost when you’re well into the endgame.
