Fujifilm has officially launched the GFX100RF, marking a significant milestone as the first fixed-lens camera in the GFX Series. Designed to deliver high-resolution, large-format image quality in a more compact form, the GFX100RF features a 102MP GFX 102MP CMOS II sensor and X-Processor 5 for fast image processing. Despite its high-resolution capabilities, the camera remains highly portable at just 735g, making it the lightest model in the GFX lineup.
A key feature of the GFX100RF is its Aspect Ratio Dial, allowing photographers to switch between nine aspect ratios inspired by Fujifilm’s history in film photography. This unique dial, combined with a precision-machined aluminium top plate, lens ring, dials, and bottom plate, adds a refined tactile experience to the camera.
The GFX100RF comes with a 35mm F4 fixed lens (equivalent to 28mm in full-frame format), ensuring versatility across different shooting scenarios, from travel and street photography to professional reportage. The built-in AI-powered autofocus system enhances subject detection, tracking animals, vehicles, and people with high speed and precision.
For videographers, the GFX100RF supports 4K/30P 4:2:2 10-bit video recording, offers F-Log2 for 13+ stops of dynamic range, and is compatible with Frame.io Camera to Cloud, making workflow integration seamless. Additionally, the built-in 4-stop ND filter allows greater control over exposure, even in bright conditions.
