Fortnite’s deadly surprise in Chapter 6 Season 2 can kill your whole team

Fortnite has trolled players by adding a trap to the new Chapter 6 Season 2 map that can eliminate your entire team if you don’t follow the rules.

Epic has introduced the Lawless update, immersing players in a crime-filled island with heists, vaults, and Gold Bars up for grabs. It has added several new weapons, fresh Medallions, and four new POIs, alongside a brand-new Battle Pass featuring Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero.

As players dive into the all the content added, one sneaky Easter Egg at the new Outlaw Oasis POI has caught many off guard. What seems like a fun, relaxing feature quickly turns deadly if you break the rules.

Don’t be fooled by the relaxing Outlaw Oasis map location

At the Outlaw Oasis, you can enjoy a peaceful soak in the hot tubs—just make sure not to exceed the limit. A sign clearly states “3 Max,” with an image showing three people in the tub.

However, if your entire squad of four enters, prepare for disaster. Shortly after, your team will be catapulted into the sky, and the fall is too high for your glider to deploy. So, if you fail to land in a nearby hot spring or elevated surface, you’ll be knocked down.

As shown in the viral clip below, the fall is trickier than it seems—only one out of four players managed to survive, with the rest being knocked out. If everyone gets knocked, it’s game over, you’ll all be eliminated from the Battle Royale match and be heading straight back to the lobby.

Despite its deadly nature, it’s a perfect troll to trick both friends and enemies alike. If you can convince them you’re friendly and lure them into the water, you can send them flying to their doom with the hot tub trap.

On the map you can also find this season’s roster of NPC characters spread across the island offering different services to help you get a Victory Royale. We have also provided full guides on how to break open vaults, where to find them all, and how to obtain each Mythic weapon.
