Fortnite and PlayStation are cooking another exclusive Cup that will be filled with enticing rewards just like the last one.

The PlayStation Cup is an exclusive Fortnite tournament designed for PlayStation players. This competition offers a unique opportunity to compete for fantastic prizes and secure a spot in the grand finals, with a prize pool of $250,000.

If you’re interested in snagging some free cosmetics, V-bucks, and even real-life cash prizes, then here’s everything you need to know.

How to participate

To participate, ensure that your PlayStation and Epic accounts are properly linked to your Fortnite user, that you meet all eligibility requirements, and that you are ready to showcase your skills.

To compete, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Compete tab on the main menu.
  2. Shift to the Fortnite PlayStation Cup card.
  3. Select the Register button on the bottom left corner.

It’s worth noting that the tournament will be played in Europe, NA West, NA Central, Asia, Brazil, Middle East, and Oceania.

Eligibility requirements

Eligibility for the tournament requires the following:

  • Participants must be at least 13 years old, though age restrictions may vary by country.
  • Participants must have an Epic Games account in good standing, with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled.
  • Participants’ Epic Account level must be at least 50, which can be verified in the in-game “Career” tab.

The event is open to players from all eligible countries, though certain regions such as Cuba, Iran, and North Korea are restricted.

Moreover, all matches must be played on a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 console.

How to qualify

The tournament’s qualifying rounds are scheduled for April 29, 2025, with the broadcast schedule to be announced.

To qualify, players must rank within the top positions during the qualifying rounds, as determined by Epic Games. Those who succeed will progress to a special semi-final stage, where they will battle for a spot in the prestigious PlayStation Cup Finals.

The tournament follows a structured format, with players competing in qualifying rounds to earn points based on in-game performance, such as placements and eliminations.
