Fortnite leak reveals game-changing feature that will make rebooting easier

A Fortnite leaker claims Epic Games may introduce a new feature that makes rebooting teammates easier since players will not have to track down their reboot cards.
Reviving eliminated squadmates in Fortnite is a fairly simple process that can prove daunting under certain circumstances.
A player must first grab their friend’s reboot card from whichever spot they died in, then locate a Reboot Van and hope enemies are not prowling around.
But grabbing reboot cards can be a hassle since some enemy players will camp near the cards to pick off opposing squad members trying to rescue fallen friends. According to one leaker, though, Epic Games may soon expedite the reboot process.
Fortnite will reportedly let players buy reboot cards
Reliable leaker Loolo has claimed that the ability to buy reboot cards is “coming soon.” Allegedly, Fortnite players will have the option to purchase the reboot cards of eliminated team members for an as yet unspecified amount of in-game gold.
This will get rid of the need to pick up reboot cards, assuming surviving squadmates have the requisite amount of gold on hand.
In a subsequent post, Loolo explained the feature in question is currently available in competitive matches “by mistake.”
As of press time, there is no timeline for when exactly players can expect the Fortnite developers to implement the buying reboot cards feature.
It could prove quite the game-changer by reducing the risk of rebooting squadmates. The feature could result in longer battle royale fights as well, given that more players will have a greater opportunity to bring back fallen friends.
This leaked information has surfaced just as Fortnite is kicking off its Chapter 6 Season 2 run. The new season revolves around a lawless theme, complete with a Battle Pass that reintroduces Midas and includes Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero.
