Who is Florence?
Florence is an SSR Hydro Support character that wields a pistol (PA-15). She is known for her ability to summon a gigantic polar bear named Arios, who assists her in combat and keeps her safe from harm.
According to a translation courtesy of Ceia, Florence is described as a “highly skilled medical Doll” who got her experience operating solo across Yellow and Contaminated Zones. She eventually became known as an “underground doctor,” leaving her specialism in pharmaceuticals to pursue medicine.
“Years of working alone have honed her skills and emboldened her fearless nature,” reads the translated description. “Yet one thing has never changed – her sincere passion for medicine and a deep-rooted desire to heal, even if that sincerity is often masked by her dazzling, flamboyant smile.”
Is there a release date?
No, there is no word on Florence’s global release date. She was recently revealed during the Chinese GFL2 livestream on May 20.

Abilities
Thanks to translations from Ceia, we now have an early look at how Florence will play in GFL2. Her kit revolves around buffing her allies’ damage, while also unleashing Hydro damage with her summonable bear companion. We’ve highlighted the key information below:
Summon details (Arios)
When Florence or Arios takes damage, Arios will counterattack, dealing Hydro damage to the target. Confectance Index needs to be consumed to keep Arios on the battlefield.
SunbornActive Skill 1
Florence removes debuffs like Taunt and Flee from her allies and provides them with a buff. The buff consumes a fixed amount of HP from affected allies, and in turn, will give them a bonus damage/Hydro damage buff.
Active Skill 2
Skill 2 will provide an AoE heal and dispel debuffs from the affected allies.
Ultimate
Florence’s Ultimate deals AoE Hydro damage, restores her Confectance Index, and resummons Arios. All enemies that receive damage will receive a Hydro debuff, which increases all Hydro damage dealt to them.
Signature weapon
SunbornWhile we don’t know the name of Florence’s signature weapon, it will have the following Trait and Effect:
- Damage is increased for ALL allied summons in the field.
- When enemies have Hydro debuff(s), Hydro damage is further increased to allies.
