Every drug in Schedule 1 early access & how to get them

Schedule 1 is the latest breakout hit on Steam, an open-world drug empire simulator that’s quickly climbed the charts thanks to its gritty gameplay and tongue-in-cheek humor.
Just days after its launch in early access on March 24, the game has already racked up over 85,000 views on Twitch, with streamers jumping in to build their own shady operations from motel rooms to labs.
The game lets players take on the role of a fledgling dealer, gradually expanding their business and experimenting with new drugs, tools, and tactics. Fans of Breaking Bad will feel right at home navigating the moral grey areas, chemistry equipment, and shady underworld politics. It’s both strategic and chaotic in all the right ways.
That said, Schedule 1 isn’t for kids. With its mature themes, explicit drug content, and dark humor, this game is firmly for adults who enjoy crime sims with a twist. It’s not here to glorify drug use—but it does know how to make it entertaining.
There’s lots to get on with as you look to build an empire in this game, but not everything will be available just yet.
Schedule 1 drugs list & upcoming additions
You can sell a lot of different products in Schedule 1, but watch out for the cops along the way.
Marijuana: Active
- Acquisition: Begin by renting a motel room and purchasing grow chambers from the local hardware store. Obtain seeds from a black market merchant via text message. Use the grow chambers to cultivate marijuana plants. Once harvested, package the product for sale.

- Purchase a Chemistry Station and Lab Oven from Oscar in the Warehouse.
- Acquire Pseudo, Acid, and Phosphorus.
- Combine these ingredients in the Chemistry Station and wait 8 hours to produce liquid meth.
- Transfer the liquid meth to the Lab Oven and wait 6 hours to obtain crystal meth.
- Shatter and package the crystal meth for distribution.

- Acquisition: MDMA is planned as a future addition to the game. Players can anticipate its inclusion in upcoming updates, which will introduce new drug types and manufacturing processes.
Heroin: Not active yet
- Acquisition: Heroin is also slated for future updates. As with MDMA, players can expect this in new content expansions that will provide opportunities to produce and distribute it.
Shrooms (Psilocybin Mushrooms): Not active yet
- Acquisition: Psilocybin mushrooms are expected to be introduced in forthcoming updates, expanding the range of producible and distributable drugs within the game.
Before you dive into building your empire, it’s worth repeating: Schedule 1 is absolutely not for kids. The game is filled with mature content, illegal activity, and themes meant for an adult audience only.

Future updates for Schedule 1
That said, the future of Schedule 1 looks just as wild as its launch. Australian developer Tyler from TVGS has laid out an ambitious roadmap filled with monthly updates.
Players can look forward to new drug types like shrooms, MDMA, heroin, and edibles; a fishing minigame with rare loot; dynamic weather; and even cartel ambushes. The world of Hyland Point will also expand, introducing map extensions, property customization, and quality-of-life upgrades like hired drivers, custom packaging, and more.
If you thought the game was intense now, just wait—things are only getting started.
